"TAKUMASAK of LOVE"

Every year HUNDREDS of our FRIENDS in nursing homes
are overlooked at this most HOLY Christmas season.
Either they have no family, are distant from their family,
or are simply neglected.

What can I do about this?

A simple gift bag
(they look just like lunch bags but with Christmas designs
on them, larger discount stores stock them)
FULL of inexpensive gifts
(you should be able to do this for about TEN Dollars (or less) per bag).
The space in the bag is limited, so it will fill very quickly.
(see list of ideas).

HOW THIS WORKS...

Fill the gift bag with items appropriate for either
a man, or woman (you can do a generic to bless either one) from
gift suggestion list or what ever GOD places on your heart
(NO used items, would you like to get a used gift?).
Include a personalized CHRISTMAS greeting
(card, note, or a picture of you or your group).

Now what do you do with this GIFT?

YOU HAND DELIEVER THE GIFT(s) TO your FRIEND(s).
Please be aware that there are more than one or two FRIENDS
in any nursing home that will NOT be getting gifts this year.

You can do this one of many ways; (please see V I I below)

1. Take your gift(s) to the nursing home that GOD puts on your heart.

2. Talk with your pastor NOW about doing this, this year.
Your pastor can have a drop off place for the GIFTS
at church or YOUR HOME!!! *SMILE*!!!

3. Church Youth Ministry may join in, making and delivering
WITH you. (ask them!!)

4. If your church has CELL/HOME groups they may join in the making
and delivering with you. (here again ASK)

5. Ask the pastor to address the church about this.
(you maybe given the opportunity to speak before the congregation)

(VII) VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Contact the nursing home in advance to find out who will not be
getting any GIFTS this year, they know whom they are, plus they
will be waiting for you. Our FRIENDS are the ones who are to be
surprised not the NURSING HOME!

By delivering the GIFT yourself, YOU minister to your FRIENDS.
THEY minister to YOU!!!

Now how do I share the gifts?
Go to your FRIENDS with, hugs, SMILES,
Christmas songs, more hugs, and most of all
TIME to talk and LISTEN.

YOU WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AFTER YOU'VE
BLESS A FRIEND THIS WAY!!!

Do not be surprised that you can not stay away from these
FRIENDS after a visit. You may find yourself in the
NURSING HOME MINISTRY!!!!!!!!!
